The New Record

Thanks everyone for your support of making this next record! We’re going back in to the studio June and July and it will be out this Fall! We’ll announce some release shows very soon. You guys are amazing - thank you.

Dear Friends,

With so many new songs, my best ever, ready to be recorded, I am eager to release a new full-length album even without the backing of a label. After putting the last few releases out on my own, I have decided instead to ask you, my friends and fans, to support this next record.

You may have heard about fan financing before. Being a patron of the arts is nothing new. Mozart had his aristocratic patrons. Michelangelo had the Medicis. Shakespeare had the Earl of Southampton. I have you!

The goal is to raise $35,000. This will be used to record and promote an album with a stronger push than I could ever do myself. Here’s how it works - there are several levels of contribution outlined below. You can donate online with a credit card or mail a check to the address below. We’ll keep you involved along the way with behind the scenes updates - videos, pictures, blogs and more.

No doubt, these are unique economic times for all of us, especially artists. But these are also very exciting times for musicians as the music industry is changing dramatically.

There are easier paths I could have taken. It’s a struggle to support a family of six making music but this is what I’ve chosen, what I dare say I am best at. This is my passion, and I am thrilled to be sharing it with you.

Here’s a chance for me to write one for you specifically. We can talk about your vision for the song and the title/theme and I’ll write it for you!

+ A VIP table for 4 at a Jammin’ Java show with table service and a Green Room meet and greet. Tickets, dinner and drinks included.

+ A full day recording session at a professional studio in the DC area with Luke and a producer/engineer. You can record an original or any song you want.

+ Private party at your house (or anywhere you want!) with Luke and the band. You help design the set list.

+ A private party at Jammin’ Java with a show by Luke and the band. Have your own party and private concert at one of the best mid-size clubs in the country. Includes space rental, food, drinks, and tickets.
